Property building in remm Shin-Osaka
Was initially worried about the room size after reading some of the reviews, but two above- average sized westerners and two big suitcases fitted comfortably in the room, although we took it in turns to open our suitcases when needed. The room was stylish and comfortable and the bathroom was a good size for Japan and the shower was great. The massage chair was a nice addition too! Check-in was seamless and amenities were available in the reception area. The best bit, though, was the location- it was just perfect for what we wanted. We chose this hotel because we intended to go on lots of day trips using our JR passes and it was just perfect, really well connected to places in Osaka as well as Kyoto and Hiroshima. It was amazing coming back to Shin- Osaka station after a long day of travel and being able to get back to our room within 5 mins! There are lots of Japanese food options around on the lower levels of the station and also things like coffee shops, a McDonald's, convenience stores, and an Uncle Rikuro's jiggly cheesecake stall which was a delightful surprise! The hotel was also easier to find than we thought it'd be- look out for the signs for the Shinkansen and head towards that. Near the Shinkansen ticket offices and machines look out for McDonalds, a vietnamese restaurant and Tully's. The hotel is to the right of those places.

Hotel was located next to Shin-Osaka Station but it was hard to find coming out of the train station exits. It was located on the northwest corner, so if you exited out from the north exit, the hotel was right around the corner. The front desk and lobby was located on the 12th Floor. Our room was located on the 16th Floor with a nice city view. The room layout was unusual in that the bathroom was located along the exterior wall with views out and full height glass enclosures facing the bed. There were shades for privacy, if needed. The wired glass exterior windows made viewing outside a little hard to see through. They have a plastic stool to use in the shower if you usually bathe with a bucket to wash. The see-thru bathroom allowed natural light to reach the bed area. We thought it was an interesting design. We had free breakfast coupons to use downstairs at a Vietnamese restaurant in front of the hotel entrance that you could use for three different types of set menus - Japanese, curry rice, and banh mi. They were very good.

Stayed in September 2024, the staff at this hotel were incredibily welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, Everyone so friendly and attentive always ready to help to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel rooms were immaculate ,spotless and incredible comfort with room ambiance and amentities were excellent at this hotel with everything desired. So peaceful even though hotel is in a super place of all transport needs required to explore the city and surroundings fabulous central location. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come back. Thank you.. Safiye & Erdogan

The room is super tiny, but the location in Shin Osaka Station can't be beat. Together with the JR Kansai Wide Pass, this hotel made it super convenient and a time saver for day trips outside of Osaka. I felt so safe staying in this hotel, and having restaurants, convenience stores (7-11), and the trains so easily accessible made this the perfect location. I loved the walk in shower, the safe, and how clean and modern the room was. Staff were very kind as well. Bed is bigger than a standard American twin size, and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is quite ideal. From the train station there is a special access to the hotel. The check-in process is quite simple, the staff will assist us do the self-check-in (There was also a staff who speaks Chinese). And during the stay there are 3 options for the cleaning, either do it, skip it or let the staff hang the replacement towels on the doorknob without entering the room, which I prefer the most. And it also has a very good view to the city as it is one of the tallest buildings in the area.
